Moving a TSS XP Server to a new computer

1. Go to the server computer for TSS XP and look for the ^  icon near the time, and locate the Application server icon at the bottom right in the task bar or
    hidden system tray (Green dot with letters IN)and double click it.

2. Click on Tools at the top, then data management, backup and restore, backup data.
    (Click on Backup on left of screen to see the location of the backup). Also right click on the TSS shortcut on the desktop and left click on Properties.
    On the properties window that pops up click on the Open File tab and you will now be in the TSS folder. Locate the UserReports folder.

3. Copy the UserReports folder and Copy the backup file onto a thumb drive and take the thumb drive and plug it into the new computer.
    (NOTE: If you are using a logo file to print at the top left of your TSS invoices, copy the logo file from in this TSS folder also, and put in onto the thumb             drive)

4. From the new computer go to www.installernet.com/tss Click on the [Click Here] to Download a Trial Version of TSSXP

5. Once it finishes downloading install the program.(Make sure to select Full Version)

6. Once TSS XP is installed locate the Application server icon  look for the ^  icon near the time 

7. Once new server is setup you need to delete the TSS shortcuts on the workstation computers and create new TSS shortcuts that point to the new server.

(NOTE) You need to go into the Windows Network Sharing Settings and make sure Network Discovery, File and Printer Sharing and Public Folder sharing are turned on, File Connection is set to use 128bit encryption and Password Protected sharing is shut off on all computers)
