TSS XP how do I configure Printer Settings

TSS allows you to configure printer settings for each workstation, you must have a working Windows default printer.

Go to the application settings section of the program.

From the Printer Settings dialog box first choose a desired form (we generically call them Outputs) at the Outputs area. Once selected, the right pane, Output Settings, will populate with default choices. You may review and modify any that are appropriate:

  • Header - references what Header text will print for the particular form
  • Format - references what type of form will be used as to accommodate different printers of different layouts - many outputs have several to choose from
  • Printer - references any printer in your Windows Setup OR the ability to 'Print to Screen
  • Tray - references the printer tray (if applicable) from your printer (we recommend leaving at 'Auto')
  • Paper Size - references the printer paper size; Letter or Legal (typically 'Letter')
  • Copies - references the number of copies that particular form will print
  • Email Copy - references whether that form is to be emailed, if applicable.(EMail tab of Application Settings
  • Terms and Conditions - references the particular Terms and Conditions that will print upon the form
