How do I prevent an employee from discounting prices below a price level?

TSS supports two types of security for protection against discounting prices on invoice items. The first type is based on a specified price level on the item.

Option 1: Prevent any discounting.

Click on the security keys on the invoice screen.

Under the materials section select "Change Item Price", then select which roles to allow, and hit ok.

Once configured, when an employee tries to discount an item.

Option 2: Minimum price level.

Go to application settings.

Under the invoicing section set the "Don't allow invoices to be created below this type" setting to the minimum price level you want to allow.

Under the section section, scroll down in the protected actions to "Create invoice types lower than the Discount Invoice Level", select it, and click properties. Then check the security groups you want to allow to discount below the minimum price level and hit ok.

Once configured, when an employee tries to discount an item below the minimum price level it will show the following message.
