Check if the printer is powered on and properly connected to your computer or network.

Ensure the printer is set as the default printer by going to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners, selecting your printer, and clicking Set as default.

Disable the "Let Windows manage my default printer" option in the same Printers & scanners settings.

If the issue persists, uninstall the printer: Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners. Select your printer and click Remove device.

Reinstall the printer: Click Add a printer or scanner in the Printers & scanners settings. Follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect your printer.

If using a network printer, ensure it has a static IP address to avoid connection issues. Configure this in the printer's network settings or web interface.

Update the printer driver: Visit the printer manufacturer's website to download the latest driver. Install the driver and restart your computer.

If the issue is caused by a recent Windows update, consider rolling back the update: Go to Settings > Windows Update > Update history > Uninstall updates. Select the problematic update and uninstall it.

Perform a clean boot to rule out software conflicts: Press Windows + R, type msconfig, and press Enter. In the System Configuration window, go to the Services tab, check Hide all Microsoft services, and click Disable all. Go to the Startup tab, click Open Task Manager, and disable all startup items. Restart your computer and test the printer connection.

If none of the above steps work, consider creating a Standard TCP/IP port for the printer: Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners. Select your printer, click Printer properties, and go to the Ports tab. Click Add Port, select Standard TCP/IP Port, and follow the prompts to configure it with the printer's IP address.
